St. Mark's Student Won Thailand's International Youth Robotics Competition 2015

As part of our efforts to expose our students to various areas of interests in science and mathematics, we have been providing robotics classes to our primary and secondary students to allow them to gain valuable exposure in this area. This gives our students the chance to exercise their creativity skills in designing robots capable of accomplishing various tasks. Recently, Thananchai, Aaron and Jeremiah participated in the Bangkok's Robotics Competition, capturing the top ranking.

Due to our success in the city-wide robotics competition, our school was invited to compete in the national competition. The competition was held on July 4, 2015 at Seacon Square with participations from 20 blue-chip schools in robotics nation-wide, comprsing of over 100 first-class contestants.

At this competition, the performance of our student, Aaron, was once again exceptional, placing him second place nation-wide.  This has earned Aaron the right to represent Thailand at the upcoming international Robotics Competition to South Korea in 2016.  To view his achievement please click here. We are pleased and honoured to be selected to represent our school and the Kingdom of Thailand internationally.
