Students have are given opportunity to explore their creative abilities through the visual arts. Primary art classes provide students with opportunities to express their ideas using a broad range of media, from painting and drawing to construction and mask making.

Through our arts program, we expect our students to:

1. Develop their intellectual, imaginative and expressive potential through the arts
2. Develop skills, techniques and a knowledge of processes as a basis for personal expression
3. Create, perform or present arts works
4. Develop understanding of how the arts evolve within particular social, cultural and historical contexts.
