These two different ways of thinking are of growing importance in our rapidly changing, competitive and information-rich world. It is our school’s belief that the ability to think critically and creatively need not be reserved for older students. Very young children occupy much of their time exploring the world by asking questions, seeking patterns, hypothesising, inferring, generalising and solving problems through their own version of logical reasoning.
Our curriculum focuses on the development of students’ thinking process in three stages, including, gathering, processing, and applying information. By providing them with an opportunity to exercise their thinking, treated in a subject as well as in cross-curricular activities, we hope that our students would be able to think flexibly and critically about issues they will face in the future. |
